Spode: As Seen on TV

The beady-eyed among you may have spotted your favourite Spode collections on the latest series of John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen. Missed it? Not to worry, we’ve rounded up the latest pieces to be beautifully styled in their kitchen and featured on the show.

Now in its seventh series, John Torode and Lisa Falkner are back on our screens continuing to inspire us with delicious recipes each weekend. And with tasty home-cooked food comes the need for stylish kitchen accessories and serveware, don’t you agree? So follow John and Lisa’s cue and make cooking that little bit more enjoyable with a dash of Spode.

Kitchen Accessories

As John and Lisa prep their recipes, our Blue Italian tea towel takes prime location on their oven door. A stunning pop of iconic blue and white for the kitchen, the timeless pattern looks good pretty much anywhere. An accessory for show, to dry dishes, or wipe hands as you cook - a kitchen essential.

Brunch

To finish off their brunch inspiration, Lisa served up a delicious banana loaf. And what’s the best accompaniment for cake? Tea, of course. Lisa served her loaf with two mugs of tea poured from the highly coveted Blue Italian Teapot. A dreamy set-up for a midday pick-me-up.

Afternoon Tea

If there’s one occasion Spode knows how to do exceptionally well, its afternoon tea. So for John and Lisa’s segment on sweet treats, it was only fitting that their masterclass of choux pastry to create chocolate eclairs, choux buns and paris-brest was served out on one of our cake stands. They opted for our Morris & Co. mix and match 3-tier stand, allowing each showstopper pastry to have their own dedicated tier.

Dinner

Continuing the love of blue and white, John and Lisa served up their one-pan dish of seafood rice on Blue Italian dinner plates. A must-have for any lover of blue and white china, you can pair with matching side plates, tea plates and cereal bowls for the whole set.
