Nice item- beware of the sticker
"I purchased this, along with some other matching items, for my elderly mother. My mother has been a fan of Spode for a long time and appreciates the quality and reputation of the brand. There was an awkward moment when unwrapping her gift when she spotted the prominent "made in China" sticker... She queried whether I had purchased knock-offs. Once I explained they were genuine she was fine, however, it came as a surprise that the items are not UK manufactured. The packing in general did not match the expectation of a high quality brand. The item itself, however, was very nice."
