Step into the magic of the season with Christmas Tree Yuletide, a captivating new chapter in Spode’s festive story. Inspired by the much-loved Twelve Days of Christmas carol, this enchanting collection brings together songbirds, partridges and festive foliage, woven through flowing scrollwork drawn from the Spode archive.
Rich red tones bring warmth and nostalgia to the table, while classic shapes and beautifully detailed decoration celebrate Spode’s enduring ceramic craftsmanship. Made in England at our Stoke-on-Trent factory, Christmas Tree Yuletide is designed to become part of your Christmas traditions for years to come.
Whether you choose to enjoy the collection on its own or layer it with the iconic Christmas Tree design, there are plenty of ways to make it part of your celebrations.
Design Inspiration
Christmas Tree Yuletide takes inspiration from one of the season’s most familiar songs: The Twelve Days of Christmas. Look closely and you’ll discover songbirds, partridges and festive foliage woven throughout the design, creating a charming sense of movement across each piece.
Flowing scrollwork, drawn from the Spode archive, provides a decorative backdrop for the festive motifs, while rich red detailing adds a traditional Christmas feel. Together, the elements create a design that feels nostalgic yet fresh – bringing the joy and storytelling of Christmas to every setting.
Setting the Table with Christmas Tree Yuletide
From Christmas Eve treats to Boxing Day brunch and the main event itself, the collection offers plenty of ways to build a table that feels wonderfully festive.
Our Christmas table layers different pieces from the collection to create depth and interest, pairing scalloped Dresser Plates and matching Soup Plates with coordinating serving pieces. The mix of borders, central motifs and all-over patterns means you can combine pieces in different ways, creating a table with plenty of personality.
Designed to complement the iconic Christmas Tree collection, it’s easy to mix and match the two designs. Layer Yuletide plates with classic Christmas Tree pieces, or bring in touches of Heritage Green Italian for an extra layer of traditional colour.
For a warm, festive finish, deep red florals sit alongside chrome details, candlelight and dark green linen napkins. The result is a table that feels elegant and indulgent – ready for every kind of celebration.
Festive Decor for the Home
The styling doesn't have to stop at the dinner table. Christmas Tree Yuletide includes pieces designed for serving, sharing and enjoying throughout the festive season.
Fill the serving bowl with seasonal sides, bring a generous platter to the table or use the rectangular dish for smaller festive treats. Espresso cups and saucers make a thoughtful finishing touch after dinner, while the mugs and mug and tin set are perfect for cosy moments with a hot drink and make wonderful gifts.
Complete the setting with coordinating textiles, including the tablecloth, runner and napkins. Featuring bird motifs at each corner and stunning decorative borders, they bring the Yuletide design beyond the dinnerware and help tie the whole table together.
Christmas Moments to Treasure
With its rich red palette, festive motifs and archive-inspired detailing, Christmas Tree Yuletide brings a little extra magic to your treasured festive moments. Enjoy it as a complete collection for a beautifully coordinated setting or mix it with Christmas Tree and Heritage Green Italian to create a table that is distinctly your own.
