The Dial House – Norfolk, United Kingdom
Located in Reepham, a small town in rural Norfolk, The Dial House hotel is a true hidden gem. With a red-brick exterior and original features, including large sash windows and working fireplaces throughout, this Georgian house boasts a whole lot of English charm.
The hotel’s décor is a unique combination of modern and antiques, so it has got something for everyone. The Dial House has 8 boutique rooms available, each one with an individual Georgian theme. Filled with all things weird and wonderful, from antique bath tubs to vinyl record players – each room offers a truly unique experience.
Naturally, our favourite room in the hotel is ‘China’. Inspired by English potteries, this beautiful room has walls adorned with blue and white china, so it’s the perfect choice for any Blue Italian lover or those with a soft spot for the grandmillennial trend. However, with seven other themed rooms to choose from, interior design lovers will be spoilt for choice.

In 2012, the hotel was renovated by former film art director and production designer, Dayna Lee and Ted Berner, who completely transformed the hotel into something truly special.
The reception area has a living room feel, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the hotel’s impressive winter garden. The area also boasts a number of opulent features, including an artistic moulded ceiling, striking chandeliers and statement textiles, which are sure to excite anyone with a passion for interior design.

Shoreline Hotel – Honolulu, USA
Colourful, playful and utterly Instagrammable are just some of the words we’d use to describe the Shoreline hotel in Waikiki. Designed by BHDM Design, they wanted to create something different to all of the other hotels in the area, somewhere where ‘nature meets neon’ as a nod to the bold and beautiful island of Waikiki.
From the minute you enter the hotel you’re surrounded by colour in the hotel’s Instagram-worthy reception area – and it doesn’t stop there. From the explosion of colour in each of the rooms, to the tropical mural surrounding the rooftop pool, mirroring the vibrant Hawaiian landscape – every corner of this hotel gives you something to smile about.

Crazy Bear Hotel – Beaconsfield, United Kingdom
Opening its doors in 2008, The Crazy Bear hotel has become somewhat iconic. Housed in the oldest building in Beaconsfield, the fifteenth century coaching inn has been expertly restored and transformed into something truly spectacular inside.
A true celebration of British eccentricity, the interiors at The Crazy Bear feature black leather walls, crushed velvet ceilings and mounted animal heads throughout, so you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported into a cabinet of curiosities. The 45 bedrooms are equally as opulent. With copper roll-top baths, crushed velvet curtains and doors and a whole lot of leather – each room is filled with some wondrous features.
In addition to some spectacular rooms, the hotel also boasts two show-stopping restaurants. The English restaurant offers some traditional British dishes, whilst the popular Thai restaurant serves some true classics, such as crispy spring rolls and fragrant Thai curries and both offer extensive cocktail menus.
