Introduced: 1957

Tricorn shape was introduced in 1957, at first for a children's pattern named Cutie Kitten. The shape proved very popular and was developed into a two-tone tableware using the lavender body with the ivory coloured Spode Imperial earthenware.

Patterns in this shape include:

(Plain): Cutie Kitten S3243

Barbecue S3244, S3251, S3252, S3253

(Two tone) Chandelier S3301

Autumn Glory S3202

Fascination S3303

Summer Days S3304, S3330

Wayside S3326

The Tricorn shape sold well in the UK but some of the patterns were applied to the circular April shape for the more traditional Australian and New Zealand markets.
