Introduced: 1957 Tricorn shape was introduced in 1957, at first for a children's pattern named Cutie Kitten. The shape proved very popular and was developed into a two-tone tableware using the lavender body with the ivory coloured Spode Imperial earthenware. Patterns in this shape include: (Plain): Cutie Kitten S3243 Barbecue S3244, S3251, S3252, S3253 (Two tone) Chandelier S3301 Autumn Glory S3202 Fascination S3303 Summer Days S3304, S3330 Wayside S3326 The Tricorn shape sold well in the UK but some of the patterns were applied to the circular April shape for the more traditional Australian and New Zealand markets.
