These half dolls were made as a special for Robert Copeland who thought they would be' rather nice as presents'. However only about 12 were made as they did not prove popular to sell.

The pattern book shows a plain white doll with a gilded edge.

They were made in 1960 and were taken from a reproduction Derby mould.
