Blue Rose pattern was introduced in about 1825 on earthenware on Gadroon shape. The centre displays a bouquet of different cottage garden flowers dominated by two different old-fashioned roses. Several coloured versions are recorded and the design was used for armorial services with a badge or crest replacing the centre spray. This pattern was reintroduced as part of the Blue Room Collection in 1996. |
