Bermuda pattern was first recorded in about 1934 and has pattern number S798. The pattern is printed in green and then hand coloured onglaze.
The pattern features an exotic bird on a branch and was produced on a cream coloured earthenware. A whole range of dinnerware was available.
An advertising leaflet of 1935 describes the pattern as representing the coming of Spring and that it is 'executed in harmonious colours which are greatly enhanced by the warm cream body and the typically rich Spode glaze'.
