Baroda has pattern number Y8252 which was first introduced in 1976. It was produced on a new shape also introduced in 1976 called Oval Shape. This new shape was based on Spode's elegant Old Oval Shape of the very early 1800s.

Along with the tableware giftware was also produced in Baroda pattern and included a Ginger Jar, various vases, Nut Bowl, Leaf Tray, Marco Bowl, Heart Box and Cigarette Jar.

The pattern was withdrawn by 1984 and the shape was also no longer produced.
